The governance of ICRIB is structured to ensure transparency, accountability, academic integrity, and long-term sustainability. The Institute operates under a clearly defined governance framework designed to uphold scientific excellence and ethical responsibility.

ICRIB functions under the aegis of the Braj Mohan Jha Foundation, a registered non-governmental organization committed to social advancement through education, research, and community development.

The governance structure includes:

  • Governing Council – Provides strategic direction and policy oversight.

  • Scientific Advisory Board – Guides research priorities, collaborations, and translational pathways.

  • Executive Leadership – Responsible for institutional management and program execution.

  • Ethics & Compliance Committee (IEC) – Ensures adherence to national and international research standards.

All institutional activities adhere to principles of:

ICRIB is committed to maintaining the highest standards of institutional governance in alignment with global research practices.

The Governing Council is currently constituted with founding members and institutional leadership. As part of its planned expansion, ICRIB will induct independent external members to strengthen oversight, transparency, and strategic guidance.
