About

The Integrative Centre for Research & Innovation in Biology (ICRIB) is an autonomous not-for-profit scientific research institute established by a registered non-government organization (NGO) named Braj Mohan Jha Science Research & Innovation Foundation (BMJSRIF/ Braj Mohan Jha Foundation), based in Chandigarh, India. It was started as the Indian Consortium for Research & Innovation in Biology in the year 2020, to promote scientific knowledge spanning and integrating with all levels of biological organizations, covering a wide range of research areas, from genetics and molecular biology to ecology and evolution, from basic biology to advanced techniques in biology exploration. The ICRIB encourages and enables interdisciplinary researchers through the exchange of scientific ideas and provides a platform to collaborate with other academic units and encourages the acquisition of new skills through modern research approaches and tools to strengthen the emerging biologists and biomedical scientists of the modern world.

The ICRIB embraces diversity and thrives on multiple perspectives to explore and achieve scientific excellence. The ICRIB values its responsibility to engage communities and communicate science and innovation. The ICRIB promotes research and innovation in biology by collaborating with different universities/ institutes across India.
